Day 2: Bali Beaches and Culture
Our cultural immersion began with a visit to some of Bali’s most breathtaking ancient temples. The intricate architecture and ornate decorations left us in awe.
We also got hands-on with the local culture, learning a bit of Bahasa and crafting a traditional Canang Sari offering. The day concluded with a stunning beach sunset and a night out experiencing Bali’s vibrant nightlife.
Day 3 to Day 4: Surfing in Bali

Day 3: Learning to Surf in Bali
The third day was all about embracing Bali’s surfing culture. Guided by expert local travel experts and surfers, we hit the waves with enthusiasm. Despite being a beginner, the thrill of catching my first wave was unforgettable. The rest of the day was spent enjoying Canggu’s laid-back beach vibe, lounging on the sand, and soaking up the sun.
Day 4: Temples, Rice Paddies & Waterfalls
We ventured to Lovina, a hidden gem in Bali, known for its scenic rice paddies and majestic waterfalls. The journey took us through awe-inspiring temples and lush landscapes. Our accommodation in the mountains offered spectacular views, providing a serene backdrop for the day’s end as we enjoyed a delicious dinner.
Day 5 to Day 6: Meet the Dolphins

Day 5: Wild Dolphins & Local Family Visit
An early start saw us cruising along the coastline in a traditional Balinese outrigger boat, marveling at wild dolphins. This was followed by a visit to a local family, where we tried our hand at basket weaving and learned about coffee production. It was a day filled with cultural insights and unforgettable experiences.
Day 6: Gili Islands, Indonesia
A fast ferry ride brought us to the stunning Gili T. The afternoon was ours to explore the island’s white sandy beaches and turquoise waters.
Whether snorkeling, diving, or simply relaxing, Gili T offered a true taste of paradise. We capped the day by exploring the island’s laid-back nightlife.

Day 9: Travel to Ubud
Returning to Bali, we headed to the cultural town of Ubud. The afternoon was free to explore the town’s traditional markets or relax in its peaceful ambiance. A group dinner in the evening was the perfect way to settle into Ubud’s charm.
Day 10: Monkey Forest
The famous Monkey Forest in Ubud was our destination for the day. Home to over 700 Balinese long-tailed monkeys, the sanctuary also housed ancient temples. Observing the playful monkeys and exploring the historic temples offered a deep dive into Bali’s rich cultural heritage.
