Storyland

When: January 5-6, 2019
”Where the dreamers go”, Storyland covers all things dance music. Stages range from intimate to massive and fans have rejoiced previous iterations with line-ups including Hardwell, Tiesto and Lost Frequencies, among many more.
Travel Tip
From Santa Marta, take a one-hour bus ride to Park Tayrona, located on the Caribbean coast, for a unique Hammock Experience. Tayrona is one of the most visited parks in Colombia. Besides a wonderful beach, the park is full of unspoiled natural beauty and incredible biodiversity.
The park is closed from January 28th until February 29th 2019, so make sure you’re there on time!

Chile hosted one of the first Lollapalooza festivals outside the United States in 2011. The following year saw Lollapalooza Brazil take place, while Argentina joined the roster in 2014. The annual festivals have since hosted music greats like Metallica, Pearl Jam, Eminem, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Killers, Imagine Dragons, and many more over the years.
Travel Tips
If you’re going to either of the aforementioned venues, why not extend your stay for a handful of days? In Santiago, for example, you can go on a wine tasting adventure, visiting 4 different vineyards. In case you are pressed for time, have a local guide take you on a bicycle city trip instead.
Buenos Aires is one of the most important capitals of South America. At the least, take a 3-hour City Tour or a traditional Tango Night Experience. If you find yourself with more time, combine the two while also going to see the famous Iguazu Falls!
If you’re headed to São Paulo, you really do have to experience the beauty and diversity that Brazil has to offer. Tailor a trip to your scheduling needs that will take you island hopping on Brazil’s Costa Verde until you reach Rio de Janeiro!
Rock in Rio

Rio de Janeiro has seen seven incarnations of the Rock in Rio festival since 1985. It has become Brazil’s biggest musical export, which has now expanded to Lisbon, Madrid and Las Vegas. From Queen, Sting, Guns N’ Roses and Metallica to Coldplay, Rihanna and Justin Timberlake, it is believed to be one of the largest festivals in the world.
Travel Tip
There is plenty to see and do in Rio itself, from the beautiful beach neighbourhoods to the Tijuca Forest, up to the impressive Christ Redeemer Statue. Take a 6-hour long day tour so you don’t miss out on the best highlights of the city.
