Take a quick stroll through the Boston Public Garden, have a beer at a ball game at Fenway Park, or go shopping for some groceries at Quincy Market. 5. Portland, Maine

Hipster City of Portland, Maine on the East Coast

Last is Portland, and I am not talking about the uber hipster city of Portland, Oregon. I am talking about Portland, Maine, one of the oldest port cities in the country. Portland’s economy still heavily relies on the fishing industry so that pretty much means you’ll be eating the freshest lobster, clams, and oyster in the country. So don’t leave this fishy port city without eating a bowl of their famous clam chowder.
