Public Service Day is TODAY!

The United Nations (UN) named June 23rd as World Public Service Day which “intends to celebrate the value and virtue of public service to the community; highlight the contribution of public service in the development process; recognise the work of public servants, and encourage young people to pursue careers in the public sector.”

We at Bamba celebrate public servers and encourage public service whenever possible. In our core values we believe that travel should ensure adventure and open-mindedness. As a result, we have infused travelling and volunteering together and have come up with “Voluntours.”

Our Voluntours are in over 10 countries worldwide!

Some of our most popular public service tours include:

A typical Bamba Voluntour includes giving back to the community via a partnership with a school or a non-profit organisation. And when you’re not volunteering your time, Bamba has included cool trips, treks, and experiences like yoga and henna workshops if you’re volunteering in Nepal, zip-lining and sightseeing if you’re in Costa Rica, or a Thai cooking class if you’ve chosen the Thailand Voluntour.

Where have you volunteered and what are some of your favourite volunteering experiences? Tell us about your cool projects in the comment section below!
