bamba proudly announces that the 4-Day Inca Trail Trek to Machu Picchu has been recognised as a winner in two categories of the 2019 TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice® awards.
First, it received the honor in the category of Top 10 Multi Day Tours – World, ranking number six. Secondly, for the category of Top 10 Experiences – South America, the trek was awarded with ranking number five.
Having inaugurated the awards for Experiences in 2018, TripAdvisor has once again highlighted the world’s top travel experiences for 2019. Awards are given by category and country and/or region, based on the quantity and quality of reviews and ratings by TripAdvisor travellers worldwide.
Specifically, the Travellers’ Choice® awards are TripAdvisor’s highest recognition, presented annually to just the top 1% of businesses across the select categories.
TripAdvisor spokesperson Laurel Greatrix declared that these awards highlight the best things to do all over the world; emphasising that these lists are sure to ”excite and inspire travellers.” She added, ”We’re thrilled to announce the world’s best tours, activities and experiences, according to the TripAdvisor community, in our Travellers’ Choice awards.”
