Embarking on the captivating 5-day Salkantay Trek to Machu Picchu was not only a physical and mental adventure but also a journey that profoundly influenced my love for cooking. The stunning landscapes, the invigorating mountain air, and the delicious, nourishing meals prepared along the way sparked a newfound inspiration for creating extraordinary dishes.

Day 1: Soraypampa Camp, Peru

Our adventure kicked off with an early morning pick-up, setting the stage for an unforgettable expedition. As we hiked towards Soraypampa, the panoramic views of snow-capped peaks and the sheer grandeur of the Andes left an indelible mark on my soul. The evening brought our first taste of camp-cooked cuisine—a humble yet satisfying meal that perfectly complemented the crisp mountain air and rejuvenated our spirits for the days to come.

Day 3: Santa Teresa Town

Day 4: Aguas Calientes, Peru
